Government faces tough times as parties gear up for Dáil

THE Government can expect a rough ride when the Dáil returns next week as opposition parties gear up for the new parliamentary session.

This weekend, Fine Gael and Labour are holding brain-storming sessions to prepare for the restart of the political year.

After failing to make much of an impact in the opening six months of the new Dáil, the main opposition parties are now expected to up the ante substantially.
