AT least 11,000 children live amid domestic violence in Northern Ireland but the estimated numbers could be far higher, according to a new government report yesterday.

The scale of the misery experienced by youngsters emerged with the start of a new campaign to tackle the violence which each year claims the lives of six people who have been attacked by a current or former partner.
