VOTERS with concerns about the Nice Treaty are neither dingbats nor whingers and should have their issues addressed, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said yesterday.

And the Yes vote has been put at risk by the Government’s arrogance over its controversial spending plans, Mr Kenny added. “It is clear there is a deep sense of frustration, fury and outrage at the way the Government has taken the people as fools,” he said.

Challenging the Government to disclose full details of the budgetary cuts, Mr Kenny said the FG front bench was submitting Freedom of Information Act requests to each government department seeking information on planned adjustments and re-alignments in spending.
