FF and FG face local election losses, poll shows

The latest opinion poll, by the Sunday Business Post/Red C shows the percentage support for parties at roughly the same levels as they have been since March. In terms of the local elections, Fianna Fáil is the only party to have recorded a change of more than 1% in support.

While its 32% showing is the same as the April poll conducted for the Post, it has failed to regain the small 2% slide in support between March and April. Fine Gael remains frozen at 22%, as does Labour, which shows a 12% vote level for the third successive poll.
