LABOUR will go after rich tax cheats to finance better public services if they get back into power, party leader Pat Rabbitte pledged yesterday.

Following a scathing attack on the latest Government cuts, Mr Rabbitte said Labour would use taxes to finance world class health care, housing, transport and public services.

But at the end of his first party conference as leader, Mr Rabbitte stressed Labour would not raise personal taxes except capital gains tax.
