Mother gives boy to strangers rather than care

A MOTHER, who was going to jail, sent her two-year-old son to Wales with strangers rather than place him in care.

Gardaí yesterday asked for information in their search for Michael Lyons.

Interpol has joined gardaí in the hunt for the boy.
