Law on wills could avert family feuds
Under the proposed legislation, titled the Registration of Wills Bill 2005, a person making a will would be able to register its existence with a central office. The office would also record the name and address of the custodian of the will on the register.
The idea is that family members could search the register upon the death of a loved one to see if that person has left a will.
