Brennan hits back at O’Rourke

The Minister for Transport said the leader of the Seanad was perfectly entitled to express her views on the proposal but that he didn’t agree with her stance in favour of selling off part of Aer Rianta when she was responsible for that portfolio in the previous Government.

Directly referring to documented evidence of Ms O’Rourke’s previous advocacy of the introduction of private funding to Aer Rianta and consideration of part-privatisation proposals, Mr Brennan said this was not a path he wanted to go down.
