Page 3 girl to spice up Trinity debate
Ireland’s most prestigious university will welcome British pin-up Hayley-Marie Coppin next month to chair a debate on pornography.
The debate, on Thursday, October 2, is being organised by the university’s Philosophical Society.
Last year The Edge from U2 had the honour of chairing the society’s opening debate at the start of the college year.
The Philosophical Society had first invited rival model Felicia Fox to this year’s Fresher’s Meeting, but she was forced to pull out due to modelling commitments.
Hayley-Marie, who is based in London, is looking forward to what will be a very different kind of assignment for her. “I cannot wait to arrive in Dublin and get to meet all the students and professors in Trinity College. I might even get to meet the Provost,” she says. The Provost, Professor John Hegarty, will attend the debate, which will consider whether pornography is killing romance.
