Ryanair sues Government over terminal

RYANAIR has decided to bring the Government to court in a bid to overturn the decision to allow Dublin Airport Authority build the capital’s second airport terminal.

Speaking at Shannon yesterday, Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary said their case would be taken under Sections 82 and 86 of the competition law under the European Treaty.

It had been thought that the airline was going to seek a judicial review of the government’s decision rather than proceed with a full legal challenge.
