Ahern set to meet foreign ministers over future of UN

The minister, who has travelled about 40,000 miles since being appointed in April by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, is speaking to governments in Europe about a major reform plan for the UN.

In an interim report he will deliver today to the summit of the Council of Europe in Warsaw, Mr Ahern will identify a number of areas where countries are finding it difficult to agree.
