PEOPLE on middle incomes are now being forced to borrow, just to meet their day to day expenses because of price fixing, cartels and competition law which is continuously being flouted, a leading economist and analyst has warned.

And the situation is only going to get steadily worse in the next four weeks as the public braces itself for a spending spree in the run-up to Christmas.
