Servisair set to shed airport jobs

WORKERS at Servisair will attend a meeting in Cork Airport today where they are expected to be informed of some job losses as a result of airline Jetmagic’s collapse.

Servisair, which employs 600 ground crew in Ireland, said yesterday it was hoping to minimise the effects of job losses at Cork Airport, where it employs 120 staff.

Servisair spokesman Peter White said the company was studying its options.
