Childcare facility grant welcomed

Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children, Tim O’Malley, yesterday welcomed the €317,000 funding being made available for childcare facilities in Limerick by Justice Minister Michael McDowell, under the Equal Opportunities Childcare Programme.

The Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership on Roxboro Road is to receive a staffing grant of €315,000, while The Welcome Club in Patrickswell NS is to receive €2,000.
