Priest mediates truce between families over suicide victim’s burial

FR AIDAN TROY has been called in to broker a truce between two families feuding over the burial plot of a suicide victim.

At one stage, up to 500 people gathered at a house in North Belfast where windows were smashed and a door forced in.

The row is centred on demands for a suicide victim’s body to be moved from a cemetery where his wife’s relatives are buried and re-interred beside his mother.
