Hard to handle - name a shame for Peaches
"I hate ridiculous names," she says. "My weird name has haunted me all my life."
The 16-year-old, whose three sisters have equally bizarre names, admits despising her name in a column called "I hate" in this week's Smash Hits magazine.
Her siblings also have difficult names to live up to: her big sister is Fifi Trixibelle, while her two younger sisters are Pixie and Heavenly Hirani Tiger Lily, who is the daughter from her mother's relationship with Michael Hutchence.
Johnny Cash used to lament about 'a boy named Sue', who hated his father for giving him such a handle. But celebrities calling their children fanciful names has become so commonplace that it is now more unusual for offspring to have normal names.
A recent poll voted Moon Unit, the daughter of Frank Zappa (above) as having the most bizarre name ever.
Another of Zappa's four children - Dweezil - makes the top 10 at number seven, but there are no mentions for the other children: Ahmed Emuukha Rodan and Diva Muffin.
Moon Unit Zappa won out ahead of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter, Apple.
Behind them followed Misty Kyd, Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri's daughter; Blur bass guitarist Alex James's son, Geronimo, and Heavenly Hirani Tiger Lily.
The survey of 2,300 people was carried out by online entertainment site getlive.co.uk. The Beckham children's names seem almost tame by comparison, with their sons being called Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
Just in case you think weird names are a modern phenomenon, think again. The celebrated composer Johann Sebastian Bach called his daughter Paris Frances.
