Taxation changes to hit perks for workers

WORKERS will be dealt another financial blow when changes in the way employment perks and bonuses are taxed come into force next year.

The Revenue Commissioners have revealed that, in addition to company cars, the following list of non-monetary work benefits will soon be subject to benefit-in-kind taxation.

1. Assistance in paying crèche and childcare facilities.
