Exam pleases majority

THE Junior Certificate geography paper seemed to please the majority of students at one school yesterday.

x Aoife Costelloe, 15, from Raheen, doing her exams at Crescent Comprehensive, summed up their feelings.

“It was not too easy or too hard, but the paper was easier than the pre-Junior Cert exam,” she said.

Fifteen-year-old Eoghan Doyle liked the ordnance survey maps question. He added that the questions on population and pyramids were easy.

His schoolmate, 15-year-old Liam Naughton, was also pleased.

“The questions weren’t too hard,” he said.
