Shannon plea for Ryanair to keep flights

TOURIST chiefs have pleaded with Ryanair not to pull more flights from Shannon warning it will cost the region another 80,000 visitors.

A row over passenger charges has already cost the airport 70,000 passengers following the pulling of the Shannon/Frankfurt Hahn service.

Local hoteliers now fear more routes may be under threat.
