Labour attacks Government for spending €6m on spin doctors

LABOUR criticised the Government last night for spending almost €6 million of taxpayers' money on special advisers and spin doctors last year.

Most of the top earners work for the Taoiseach and Tánaiste and cost the State €2.5m.

"They might be doing an excellent PR job for Bertie but this is taxpayers' money," Labour TD Kathleen Lynch said.
