AS a key nursing union prepares to meet outside of Dublin for the first time, tension is brewing among disgruntled members who say they’re being constantly overstretched in understaffed units.

Nurses’ meeting

The March meeting of the executive council of the Irish Nurses Organisation will be held in the council chambers, in the town hall, Clonmel on Tuesday.

INO general secretary Liam Doran, speaking ahead of the meeting said: “The INO executive council will take the opportunity, during its visit to Clonmel, to receive feedback from our branch officers and nurse representatives in Tipperary and throughout the south east region on the current state of services in the area.
