SANTA made a list, checked it twice and was asked to check it again, just to be sure, while in Cork yesterday.

Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and dozens of elves were run off their feet when more than 240 children from Cork hospitals and 15 children from Kerry with hearing impairments spent the day with the team from the North Pole.

Santa and his crew flew in via Cork Airport - which yesterday announced November passenger traffic was up 20.24% on the period last year - to attend the Cork City Hospital’s Children’s Club Winter Wonderland at Fota House.
