Motor fans get in gear for modified car show

IF the nearest you have ever managed to get to a modified car is wrapping it around a tree on the corner of a wet boreen, you probably won’t have much interest in the Modified Car Show which revs into the RDS in Dublin tomorrow.

For the car-mad world though, the event is a sublime moment to gaze, gawk and fiddle with all kinds of four-wheeled wonders in what has become an annual salute to the aficionado's art.

From the good to the bad to the unbelievable, machines of all shapes and sizes will grace the faded grandeur of the RDS tomorrow and Easter Sunday.
