Slane concert in doubt

MEATH County Councillors have asked the county manager not to grant a licence for a Sunday concert in Slane.

The request came following the suspension of standing orders at the monthly meeting when the issue was debated.

No application has yet been made for the concert, which is expected to be headlined by Madonna.
