FF won’t say when Collins inquiry will conclude
Fianna Fáil Parliamentary Party chairman Séamus Kirk said the party’s Standards in Public Life Committee had begun its investigations procedure, but declined to speculate as to when any inquiry would be concluded.
Mr Kirk said Taoiseach Bertie Ahern had already written to Fianna Fáil general secretary Seán Dorgan asking for “an investigation to be held into the issue of Michael Collins and his tax compliance situation as a result of the Revenue’s recent report”.
