THE Ulster Unionist Party yesterday decided to proceed with the second disciplinary hearing against three rebel MPs.

After a two-hour meeting in their Belfast headquarters, Ulster Unionist MP Jeffrey Donaldson claimed the move had made matters worse.

The Ulster Unionist Party has been badly split over a decision last month by the party's ruling council to back the leadership refusal to completely reject plans put forward by the British and Irish Governments for the future of the Good Friday Agreement.
