BreastCheck rollout earmarked for end of 2007

WOMEN in the South and West of the country should have a breast screening service for the first time by the end of 2007.

This is seven years after the life-saving campaign began in the East and three years later than the Department of Health had originally planned.

BreastCheck has published a detailed two-year timeline over which they plan to have the €12.5 million service operational.
