Convention uncovers the Government's Euro-sceptic attitude

There is no doubt the representatives of the Government and the Dáil to the convention are playing an active role in the debate expected to fashion the future shape of the union.

But their attitude sometimes appears to be that of a policeman, ensuring the EU goes so far and no further.
