On-duty officers should be accountable, says GRA

THE Garda Representative Association (GRA) last night conceded that on-duty officers should be accountable for their actions.

It is now to instruct members to co-operate fully with the third module of the Morris Tribunal.

GRA general secretary PJ Stone also admitted that advice given to members of the force that they need not give an account of their movements in relation to the death of Richie Barron had not been good advice and would not be repeated.
