College offers won’t be hit by postal strike, says CAO

ASPIRING college goers were last night reassured they will receive their third level offers, despite a threatened postal strike.

College offers are due to arrive in the post on Tuesday the day after some rural postal deliveries will be hit by a dispute involving postmasters.

But the Central Applications Office said last year the vast majority of college offers were accepted or rejected via computer.
