Minister was misinformed on tunnel say road hauliers

FURIOUS road hauliers insisted yesterday that Transport Minister Seamus Brennan was repeatedly misinformed by state agencies on a decision not to increase the height of the Dublin Port Tunnel.

The Irish Road Haulage Association (IRHA) also criticised the minister’s plan to ban super cube trailers.

The organisation will strongly resist any truck height legislation which would impact on vehicles and trailers in company fleets.
