Extra air routes spark ‘revolution’ at Shannon

An estimated 1.5 million Ryanair passengers at Shannon over the next 12 months are predicted to generate more than E300m for tourism in the western regions and help create 1,500 jobs.

Shannon passenger numbers will rise to 3.5 million next year due to the new Ryanair business.
