THREE Latvian men were injured in an attack, which appeared to be the latest racist incident in the North.

The men, all in their 20s, were walking through a park in Lurgan, Co Armagh, at around 9pm on Tuesday night when they were targeted by a gang. One of the men was stabbed in the arm and the other two badly assaulted and kicked to the ground.

Police said the men were taken to hospital from Lord Lurgan Park.
