PLC education sector in ‘enormous danger’, says TUI
President Derek Dunne said the sector, which provides courses for almost 30,000 students, is being neglected by the Department of Education.
The Department has so far failed to implement a report by McIver consultants, which recommended Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) colleges be given the resources to pay for librarians, computer technicians and full-time managers.
