High standards spark stand-offs

AN exceptional high standard of knowledge has already created exciting stand-offs in the first round of the Thomas Crosbie Holdings Schools Quiz.

Last night’s battles of the brains in Mallow were no exception.

In the competition involving St Coleman’s College, Fermoy; Scoil Mhuire, Kanturk and CBS, Charleville the first two were head-to-head at 96 points each going into the final round. St Coleman’s won, but not without difficulty.
