Poles apart for motorists

CONFUSION reigns as far as drivers on the Mill Road, in Killarney, are concerned.

Facing the same direction on opposite sides of the road are signs proclaiming 80kh and 50kh speed limits.

“These are among the most unusual signs I’ve ever come across,” Killarney mayor Brian O’Leary said yesterday.
