75% find home loans easy to pay

THREE out of four first-time home buyers have no problem paying their mortgage, according to Central Statistics Office figures.

Just over 20% found their mortgages “easy to manage” while 55% said theirs was “manageable”.

The latest Quarterly National Household Survey also shows that almost 60% of first-time buyers’ households had two or more people employed.
