Harney overlooks benchmarking’s downside

THAT Mary Harney believes fundamentally in competition is no surprise.

Neither is the fact that she should espouse that cause in a highly articulate fashion at every opportunity she gets.

Indeed, it is hard to argue with the substance of what she said in her article in the Irish Examiner on Tuesday last.
