Deenihan supports Mansfield centre

FG’s Arts, sports and tourism spokesman Jimmy Deenihan controversially supported the retention of the national conference centre being built by City West owner Jim Mansfield.

Mr Deenihan referred to the steel structure of the centre, standing in the grounds of where the Árd Fheis was taking place, and called for it to be given the go-ahead. Mr Mansfield may be forced to dismantle the structure after An Bord Pleanala refused it planning permission.
