Rebel hordes see Red on Leeside

WHAT’S red and red and red all over? The rebel nation of approximately 50,000 Cork supporters who last night faced the fury of the weather to give their sporting heroes a wild and warm welcome home.

If you thought Croke Park was largely a sea of red for the historic All-Ireland encounter, the city of Cork was last night literally awash with fans of all ages.

They came from Newtownshandrum, Cloyne, Killeagh, Grenagh, every conceivable part of the county where a stick of ash has ever struck a ball.
