LIMERICK gardaí remained tightlipped yesterday on reports that a son of Euro jackpot winner, Dolores McNamara fled the city because of a kidnap threat.

The newspaper report stated that Mrs McNamara’s eldest son, Gary, his partner and their child had left their home in Castletroy for an unknown address.

It is believed that since her win, gardaí have advised Mrs McNamara and her family on the kind of profile they should maintain and this advice is upgraded on an ongoing basis.
