Woman escapes TV licence jail threat
Gardaí will not be acting on a warrant for the arrest of Caroline Kelly, 22, who had been given until last night to pay a €290 fine, or to go to prison. An Post confirmed the warrant was not going to be executed.
“We’ve been in touch with Caroline and have told her there’s no danger of her being taken to jail,” An Post spokesman John Foley said.
