Government will not pander to any party in North

Government will not pander to any party in North

Speaking in Dublin after discussions with Sinn Féin delegation, Mr Ahern said all parties would have to engage with each other rather than engage in shadow box.

“There will be no pandering to anyone, but we are looking at options to try in effect to bring things to a head,” Mr Ahern said. “While all the parties will blame the two governments for not doing something, ultimately, if we do not have co-operation from all the parties, it leaves us in a very difficult state.”
