More than one killer behind murder of Ennis hackney driver
It emerged last night as Ennis gardaí were preparing to interview the man who may have ordered the last fare with 56-year-old Mr Moloney. The man contacted gardaí so he could be eliminated from enquiries.
Supt John Kerin, who is leading the investigation, said the preliminary medical report confirmed Mr Moloney died from head injuries. However, well-placed sources said that as well as multiple stab wounds, other wounds were caused by a blunt instrument.
