The Co Down rider was drafted in yesterday after last-ditch efforts failed to bring Jessica Kürten and Harry Marshall on board.

Head of the selectors, Taylor Vard, yesterday afternoon said: “Jessica would not return my calls and Harry said it was too late for him to plan for Aachen.”
