High security to prevent FF Árd Fheis vote fraud

FIANNA FÁIL has moved to implement unprecedented levels of security checks to ensure delegates at this weekend’s Árd Fheis cannot engage in vote fraud.

The crackdown, which will even include the videotaping of delegates, follows revelations of widespread irregularities at the party’s national executive elections in the past decade.

Confirming the new measures yesterday, a spokeswoman for the party said security around the national executive vote this year would be the tightest ever.
