Unions criticise An Post bonuses

UNIONS at An Post have criticised generous bonus payments and salary increases to top management while Sustaining Progress increases due to workers have not been paid since 2004.

Level two management at An Post are typically paid upwards of €100,000 annually and are evaluated for pay rises and bonuses according to a salary survey conduced by Hay Consultants.

Under the Hay scale, which is used by all semi-states, level two managers can be evaluated to receive a maximum annual bonus of 25% of their salary.
