Thieves lock elderly woman in bathroom for 16 hours

AN elderly woman was locked in her bathroom for 16 hours as thieves ransacked her home.

The 93-year-old woman’s ordeal began after two men called to her Bray home, threw a coat over her head before bundling her into a bedroom.

During the ordeal the woman was locked in the bathroom. After ransacking her home they made off with valuables, including a Waterford Crystal Lamp.
