DOUBLE income families with children under the age of five have been revealed as some of the most committed working parents across the country, according to the Irish Examiner survey.

The questionnaire paints a picture of relatively young, well educated and well-off couples who view work as very important in their lives.

But they are somewhat less certain about whether their children’s quality of life is as good as their own childhood, with 41% of them thinking it’s not better, compared to 29% of all other parents.
