Broadcasters’ bond ‘terminated’

THE future of Eamon Dunphy’s pairing with long-time friend and colleague John Giles on RTE’s Premiership programme remained in doubt yesterday as Dunphy refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing on his part.

Interviewed by 2FM's Gerry Ryan, Dunphy was non-committal when asked about the future of the programme's pairing.

But when asked about his friendship with Giles, the controversial journalist and football pundit was frank.
